She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Lehman and Minnie Lehman (Baumgardner); and her husband Melvin G. Berkey. She is survived by : her children, Cindi (John Papinchak), Kevin, Elizabeth (Reynolds) and Gayle (John Toki); her grandchildren, Kim (Joe Quinn), Jason Berkey (Katie) and Jeffrey Berkey; her great grandchildren, Meghan, Evan and Isaac Quinn; her grandchildren, Carter and Greyson Berkey; her great great grandchild Daxtyn Oldham; and her sister-in-law Myrtle Stiffler.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (514 Shady Ln, Windber, PA 15963). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church c/o the building fund, 514 Shady Ln., Windber, PA 15963 or Dementia Research in memory of Lila.
