She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hunter and Audrey Hunter (Wirick); her husband Tom Toomey; her parents-in-law, George T. and Ethel Toomey (Sharpe); her grandson Joshua J. Spinelli; her brothers, Richard Wirick and Larry Hunter; and her brother-in-law Tom Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda S. (Jim Spinelli) and Bo Toomey (Gina (Grabish)); her grandchildren, Jarod Spinelli (Megan (Jerley)), Ava Toomey and Mica Toomey; her great grandchild River James Spinelli; her sisters-in-law, Judy Weaver (Toomey) and Sandy Hunter; Melissa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simple Alternatives Funeral Home (717 Main St, Windber, PA 15963). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (514 Shady Ln, Windber, PA 15963).
