She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Hovanec and Susan Hovanec (Ulatsky); her husband Paul; and her siblings, Margaret (DeBarto), John and Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Paul A. (Virginia) of Timonium, MD and Susan of Swissvale, PA; her brother Andrew Hovanec; her niece Susan Hovanec; her nephew John Hovanec; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Selah and Luka; and her nieces, Rose Lapacik (DeBarto) and Jeanne Debarto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home (1312 Graham Ave, Windber, PA 15963). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (604 Graham Ave, Windber, PA 15963).
