He is survived by: his wife Ruth Y. Thomas (Sarvis); his children, Laura (Dwight Erb), Alan Thomas and Jenny (Leon Kauffman); his grandchildren, Marcy Erb (Ananth), Debra Erb (Daymon), Tasha Erb, Jayla and Jalen Kauffman; and his great grandchildren, Allison and Brooklyn.
