It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stella L. Scanlan in Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph "Boss" Pruchnic and Anna "Bubba" Pruchnic (Rusnica); her husband James L Scanlan; her grandson Joseph Brannon; and her siblings, John, Edward, Stanley, Joseph, Frank, Helen and Mary.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lisa Greathouse (Wayne), Marcy Spinos (Scanlan) and Linda Scanlan (Bob McCreary); her grandsons, Thomas Greathouse (Alisha Crowley), James Greathouse (Courtney), Anthony Spinos (Taylor Kopsic), Michael Spinos (Sha'lee Watters) and Jordan Scanlan; her great grandchildren, Autumn and Lauren Greathouse; her siblings, Walter and Josephine; and her pet Tucker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Windber Hospice in memory of Stella Scanlan.
