She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin W. Shenk and Esther Jane Shenk (Stitely); her husband Paul C. Engle; and her daughter Denise Collins (Ted Collins). She is survived by: her children, Janelle Morgans (late Robert Morgans), Cliff Engle (Yvette), Lori Beaver (Jay) and Teresa Bollis (David); her grandchildren, Kim Scarcella (Jason), Brandon Morgans (Julie), Adam Engle, Keri Holley (Jason), Troy Engle (Jessica), Kelly Krajnik (Michael), Kristi Baublitz (John), Timothy Collins, Virginia Clegg (Jeremy) and Alexander Bollis (Lindsey); her son-in-law Robert; and her siblings, Robert Shenk and IsoDean Smeltzer. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions in Betty's memory be made to the Church of the Open Door, East York Campus, 4075 East Market Street, York, PA 17402, to honor her generous and loving spirit.
