He was predeceased by: his parents, John Filus and Anna Filus (Skok); and his brother John Filus. He is survived by: his wife Lisa M. Filus (Miller); his children, Zachary, Jeremy, Lauren and Emily; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Joseph, Theodore and Lillian; and his brother Stephen Filus (Patricia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
