He was predeceased by: his parents, William Derk and Donna Derk (Stroup). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn J. Derk; his daughters, Stephanie (Josh Burkholder) and Jessica (Chris Bigger); his sister Terri; and his brother-in-law Joe Miller.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sunbury Bible Church (135 Spruce Hollow Rd, Northumberland, PA 17857). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 44 (309 Point Township Dr, Northumberland, PA 17857). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the TBD Green Lawn Memorial Park (62 PA-54, Montgomery, PA 17752).
