He was predeceased by : his parents, Nick Peffer and Dorothy Peffer (Robinson); and his children, Dwayne Edward Peffer and Barbara Sue Peffer. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Wolfe; his children, Doug Peffer (Tammy) of Millmont and Diane Edmiston (Vince) of Middleburg; his stepdaughters, Michelle Hummel (Ben) of Middleburg and Tammy Ramirez (Bryant) of Mifflinburg; his sisters, Anna Mae Brown of East Salem, Catherine Ernestine Peffer of Nelson, VA and Connie Aumiller of Millerstown; and his grandchildren, Laura Reber (Duane), Christopher Edmiston (Leah), Ashley Ruch (Shane), Brett Hummel (Ashley), Hannah Hummel (Ryan Hammacker) and Ray Kline, Jr. (Kenda).

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Ron's memory be made to St. St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
