He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine M. Boess (Cornwell); his parents, Joseph G. Boess and Marie Boess (Senske); his son William J. Boess; and his siblings, Edward, Marie and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his children, Denise E. Kruse (Toby), Elaine M. Roberge (Thomas) and Joseph E. Boess (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Cristina, Michelle, Curtis, Cassandra, Kayla, Joseph, Skyler, Merritt, Brent, Nikki, Savannah and Cheryl. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
