He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gechter and Elsie Mae Gechter (Hartman); and his brother George Gechter. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine F. Gechter (Dombroski); his children, Lorraine Wartenluft of Wernersville, Carrie Brightbill of Womelsdorf, Kendra Smith (Mark Wesner) of Newmanstown and Kenneth Gechter Jr. (Janelle) of Womelsdorf; and his grandchildren, Sabrina, Daniel, Sara, Allison, Katelyn, Kamella, Abigail, Mason, Garth Jr. and Kennadee Mae. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
