He is survived by : his wife Denise M Medvec (Paolini); his children, Danielle Medvec (Robert Heine III) and Stephan Medvec; his siblings, Michael Medvec (Donna), Barbara Medvec and Marianne Walton; his nephews, Bryan Medvec (Amy) and Michael Walton; his great-nieces, Stella and Victoria; his great-nephew Jacob; and his pet Snicks.
