It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James J. Madden MD of Worcester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Madden and Marie Madden (Clark); and his brother-in-law John Viercinski. He is survived by: his wife Maryellen Malak Madden; his children, Brian Madden (Kate) of Ambler, PA, Tim Madden (Lindsey Cobbett) of Haverford, PA and Kate Madden Campbell (Brian) of Jupiter, FL.; his grandchildren, Joe, Liam, Maeve, Harrison, Arabella, James, Sophie, Phoebe and Caroline; his sisters, Theresa Madden of Lansdale, PA, Marie Stefanides (Mike) of Forty Fort, PA, Regina Adams (Kevin) of Harleysville, PA and Margaret Mary Larkin (Tom) of Cheltenham, PA.; and his siblings-in-law, Tim, Marci Malak, Barry and Marge Rogan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446).
