He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Held; his parents, Robert F. Held, Sr. and Evelyn Held (Lyons); his children, Robert F. Held III (BJ) of Hatfield, Jason Held of Baltimore, MD, Jamie Gautille (Held) of West Chester, Elizabeth Held (Liz) of Washington, D. C. and Rachel Held of Worcester; and his siblings, James Held, Karen Starke (Held), Phillip Held, Sharon Held and Linda Mantai (Held). He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, or Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
