He was predeceased by : his parents, Lillian Sharples and Fred Sharples; his brother Robert Allen Sharples; and his son Robert James Sharples. He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his sons, Kristopher N Sharples (Martina) of Pirmasens, Germany and Kenneth P Sharples of Southport, NC; his stepson John Peters (Karen) of East Berlin, PA; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly, Kristine, Stefan, James, Pauleen and Sarah.
