He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Carl Hooks; and his stepfather Larry Kline. He is survived by: his wife Shawnee Hooks; his daughters, Sarah Thompson (Ronald), Gretchen Beers and Heather Beers; his grandsons, Haydn Shimpeno and Mason Thompson; his brother Kirk Hooks (Tanya); his mother Violet Jenkins; his stepmother Ann Kline; his siblings-in-law, Larry Brown, Michael Sinawski and Sandra Brown-Hiner; and his stepsister Cathy Bono (Mark). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home (832 E Brady Rd, Cowansville, PA 16218). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
