He is survived by: his son Chad L.; his daughter-in-law Yana Dewing; his grandson Arthur Alexandre Dewing; his siblings, Andrew, Sally Dewing, Kathy MacKenchnie and Joan Beckwith; his siblings-in-law, Raymeta, James Crawford, Rosemarie "Pose" and Greg Foster; his aunts and uncles, Russell and Ruth Dewing; Waylon Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
