He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Braxton and Eva Braxton (Matthews); and his siblings, Richard B. Sr., James E. Jr., Floyd M., George L. and Harriet Logan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Braxton (Atwell); his children, Elyse M. Braxton, Stanley H. Braxton (Natasha) and Evan C. Braxton; his granddaughter Kattiana Arnold (Axel); his great grandchild Ailia Arnold; and his sisters, Ann E. and Mary M. Braxton. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
