Anthony La Paro Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2021, Anthony La Paro of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Neess La (Peggy); his parents, Carmelo Paro and Margaret Sammon La Paro; and his brother Henry C. La Paro. He is survived by: his brother John La Paro of Syracuse; his daughters, Susan La Paro of Williamsburg, VA, Nancy La Paro (Aaron Watters) of Highland Park, NJ and Karen La Paro (Richard Rowland) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Alex Trask, Gwen Trask, Evan Trask, Kendall La Paro, Jaclyn Watters, Eleanor La Paro, Madeleine La Paro and Christopher La Paro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wyomissing Public Library, ACBL Educational Foundation or the charity of your choice.

I knew Tony for 30 years and a married to his youngest daughter Karen.. he and Peggy had a tight-knit family and I have wonderful memories of Christmas New Year's and 4th of July.. I will miss him greatly as will Madeleine and Christopher.. he was always happy and enthusiastic and a good cook having wonderful meals and especially ice cream and dessert .He watched a lot of football and basketball on TV...
