Betty will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Keck and Grace Keck (Lucas); and her sister Evelyn Spangler. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas C. Shirk; her children, Mary J. Shirk of Fleetwood, Paul T. Shirk (Sally) of Fleetwood, Sarah E. Shirk of Manheim and Susan J. Boehmer (Chris) of Grantville; and her grandchildren, Abigail and Patrick Ryan.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Atonement Lutheran Church (5 Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610).
Donations in her honor may be given to Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.
