He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. and Virginia M. (McDonald). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Steinwedel (McIlvaine); his sister Judie S. Jolly (Tom) of Alexandria, VA; and his daughter Christine E. Edwards (Darian) of Vienna, VA.
