He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Charlton and Miriam Charlton (Henninger); and his sister Carol Eaken Derr. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ganster; his children, Donald Charlton (Lynn) of Berwyn, PA and Kimberly (Thomas Carroll) of Media, PA.; his grandchildren, Emma (Kees Elling) of Frankfurt, DE, Sam Charlton (Erin) of Broomall, PA, Megan Carroll of Charleston, SC and Thomas Carroll of Philadelphia, PA; and his great grandchild Harriet.
