She was predeceased by: her husband John Makowiecki; her parents, William E. Schaeffer and Elsie A. Schaeffer (Mull); her great grandchild Daniel Ellis; and her sister Gloria J. O'Reilly.
She is survived by: her children, Jane L. Valentino (late David) and David Makowiecki; her grandchildren, Amy, Kelly, Rebecca and Valerie; and her brothers, Dr. William Schaeffer Jr. (late Kathleen) and Dr. Gene T. Schaeffer (Shirley).
