He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Rodgers and Tennie Rodgers (Limb); and his siblings, Don, Earl, Basil, Burl, Dovie and Muriel.

He is survived by: his dachshund Bella; his spouse Jeffrey Shannon of Wyomissing; and his brother John Rodgers. He is also survived by 2 sons, and 2 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
