We bid farewell to Joan Heckler of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2026 at the age of 93. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Gaylord "Gig" B. Heckler; her parents, William A. and Mary A. Dettmer (Foster); and her brother William Dettmer. She is survived by: her sons, Frederic (Lauri), Ronald (Terri) of Shillington and Philip (Veronica); her brother James Dettmer of Levittown; her grandchildren, Daniel, Allison, Ross, Kelly, Jason, Justin and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn, Cassidy, Owen, Savannah, Christopher, Adelyn, Logan, Colin, Lainey, Emersyn, Abby and Corson. She is also survived by two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
