John Ziemba Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of John Ziemba of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. John passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember John for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. John’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ziemba and Katherine Ziemba (Materniak). He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Ziemba (Majka) of Wyomissing; and his daughters, Theresa Pietrowski of West Reading, Katherine Latshaw (David) of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Mary Rathman (Joseph) of Louisville, Kentucky and Bernadette Ziemba (Vidal Rodriguez) of Ephrata. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (250 S 12th St, Reading, PA 19602).
