He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Metzgar and Emma K. Metzgar; and his wife Susan Metzgar. He is survived by: his children, Susanne McMenamy and Robert P. Metzgar; his grandchildren, Aedan, Molly, Ian, Darren and Winter; and his sisters, Louise Rhode and Carol Vida.
