He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca E. Markey (Petre); and his parents, Walter E. Markey, Sr. and Emma M. Markey (Krout). He is survived by: his children, Monique Markey Heathcock (Brenden Burke) of Gainesville, Florida and Michael D. Markey (Inez Montalvo) of Hamilton Township; his grandchildren, Garrett Heathcock, Pierce Heathcock, Isabella Markey, Gabriella Markey, Riley Crismali and Noah Crismali; and his siblings, Sarah Markey of York and Philip Markey of York.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Faith Church (2200 State Hill Rd, Wyomissing, PA 19610).
