She was predeceased by: her parents, Burleigh Roof and Effie Whipple Roof; her siblings, Dorothy Jane Taylor (Francis), Ella Mae Lundy (Ralph) and Robert Burleigh Roof (Mary Jane); and her brother-in-law Roy Francis King, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Tom Cornell; and her sister Joanne Marie Roof King. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Standing Stone Cemetery (3264 River Rd, Wysox, PA 18854).
