She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph C. Harris and Lillian Brelsford Harris; her spouse Elmont Cheesman; her sisters, Betty Sayko, Hazel Manness, Joanne Cadwallader, Louise Metzger, Doris Borden, Barbara Wallace and Ruth Saxby; and her grandchild Jamie Beighley.

She is survived by : her daughter Shirley Beighley of Squirrel's Nest; her siblings, Joseph C. Harris, Jr. (Cheryl), Charles Harris (Francine), Jimmy Harris (Doris) and Ann Rusnak (Jack); her grandchildren, Ronnie Beighley and Jackie Stephens (Joe); her great grandchildren, Tommy Barats (Brenda), Jaivan, Evan, Jamieson Smith, Austin Chapman, Rhyatt and Zayne Stephens; and her great great grandchild Nevaeh Barats. She is also survived by her husband, daughter, and large extended family.
