He is survived by: his parents, Charles "Coonie" Slade (Diane) and June Terry Glass (John); his children, Christen Slade of Upper Marlboro, MD and Chauncey Slade, Jr. of Capitol Heights, MD; and his brother Ortez Glass of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 188 Cross Creek Ln, Danville, VA 24540. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541).
