With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary F Carter of Yeadon, Pennsylvania, born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Allen Carter (Tony); her grandchild Deon Carter Hashaan E. (Twins); her great grandchildren, Deon M Carter, Emanuel T. Carter, Taquan N. Sykes, Devonte'R. Carter, Brianna Carter, Kevon J. Carter, Tristian Berry and Zoey R Carter; her great great grandchild Nadir Carter; and her daughter-in-law Francine D Lane.

She is survived by : her siblings, William Owen Hanna, Carter Hanna, Stewart Barkley Hanna, Linda Hanna and Anita Hanna; her former life partners, Anthony V Carter Sr., Brenda R Carter and Areetha M Carter; and her grandchildren, Anthony V Carter Jr., Ebony L Carter, Areetha R Carter and Rashaan E. Carter.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bethel AME Church (122 Bartram Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gleenwood Memorial Gardens (2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008).
