With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy C. Deamer Sr. of Yeagertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Roy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Roy has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Deamer and Beatrice S. Deamer (Foulk); and his grandson Roy C. Deamer III. He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Deamer (Wilt); and his children, Tammy M. Shoup (Michael) of York, Roy C. Deamer Jr. (Brenda) of South Carolina, Deborah R. Deamer of Lewistown, Lois A. Scott of Lewistown and Miriam L. McMurry of Lewistown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
