He was predeceased by: his parents, John Komar and Elizabeth Komar (Takacs); and his brother Nicholas Komar. He is survived by: his wife Irene Komar (Bulina); his children, John Komar (Christina), Lisa Krzyzewski (Joseph), Michael Komar (Colleen) and David Komar (Gina); and his grandchildren, Andrew T., Kathryn, Andrew S., Michael, Nadia, Emily and Matthew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. (1551 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17408). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
