She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Jacobs; and her brother James B. Sholtis. She is survived by: her children, David A. Jacobs (Karen) of Bel Air, MD and Cheryl L. Orndorff (Mark) of Gettysburg; her grandchildren, Morgan, Aaron Orndorff, Benjamin and Charlotte Jacobs; and her brother Charles Sholtis (Marty).
