We announce the death of Anna M. Gurreri of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 98. Anna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Gurreri; her parents, Emanuel Sciangula and Stella Sciangula (Forte); her son Lawrence W. Gurreri; and her brother George Sciangula.
She is survived by: her children, Rose A. Gurreri, Stella F. Holt (William), Frances J. Moubray (David), Emanuel S. "Mike" Gurreri and Joseph A. Gurreri (Mary Jo (Kingston)); and her sisters, Frances Terroso and Jane Stonesifer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2935 Kingston Rd, East York, PA 17402).
