She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy N. Banks and Daisy Bell Banks (Simpson); her son Leon E. Banks; and her siblings, Percy N, Robert C, Vernon E, Macklin G, Rodney D, Thomas C, James W, Eva A. Hopkins, Rosie V. Mitchell, Florine S. Breeland and Delores Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Shawn Carter (Heather), Bonita Williams (Charles) of York, Karen Ferguson of York, Rayland (Butch) of York, Rhonda Carter of York, Gwendolyn Jones (Gary) of York and Terry Flemings of Killeen, TX.; her sister Bessie Glover; and her friends, Rachel Ferguson and Kayden Cross. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grand Children and Great Great Grand Children.
