We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2025, at the age of 84, Barbara K. Dickensheets of York, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her spouse E. Marlet Dickensheets; and her parents, Robert Bartell and Geraldine Bartell (Palmer). She is survived by: her children, Robert Dale Bartell of York, PA, Tony Marlet Dickensheets of Capell, TX and Tricia Kay Strickland of Columbia, MD; her sister Judy Sparr of York, PA; and her grandsons, Nigel and Liam Strickland. She is also survived by other loving extended family members and dear friends.
