With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Charles Mayer (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Mayer and Amalie Mayer (Brunner); his wife Joyce; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Noralynn; his grandchildren, Riley and Declan; his brother Theodore; his sister-in-law Ellen; his niece Jennifer; his nephew John; his sister-in-law Janet Halecky; and his nephew Stephen.

In 2017 Bernie and Joyce moved to Cranberry Pennsylvania so he could be cared for by family as he was suffering from Alzheimer's. On June 6, 2022 Bernie became the stuff the stars are made of.
