It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Gail Hanus of York, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Charles (Barnes) and James Timothy Hackler; her husband Robert W. Hanus; her granddaughter Alyssa; her sister Martha Cornett (Deal); and her nephew James Hackler.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Hanson (Allison) of McKeesport and Michael Hanson (Katy) of Media; her stepsons, Michael Hanus (Melissa) and Steve Hanus (Tracey); her grandchildren, Markus, Mason, Natalie, Lucas, Joshua, Ashley and Stephanie; her brothers, Barry Hackler (Sandy Horning) and Mark Hackler (Tammy); her brother-in-law Stuart Cornett; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Orwig (Bob), Sherry Hill (John), Cindy Hetrick (Karl), James Cornett, Terry Cornett, Amanda Cramer (Hackler), Crystal Hackler, Melissa Hackler and Adam Hackler.
