She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Palmer and Agnes Buchanan (Harris); her son Flair L. Generett; her grandson Nagus L. Griggs; her brothers, Eugene, Jr., Gerry, Berry, Chuck, Anthony, Michael and Theodore; and her sister-in-law Wanda Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Selena M. Johnson (Wendell) of York, Donald E. Generett of York, Natalie M. Brown (Jerrod) of York, Carla C. Wharton (Kwasi) of York and Barry "Butch" Generett (Wendy) of York; her godson Theodore Barton, Sr.; her siblings, Constance Smith (Leo) of York, Rhoda Barton, Joyce Palmer of York, Susan Palmer Young of York and Patrick Palmer (DeAnn); her sister-in-law Myrtle Legotte; and her close friend Delores "Wocky" Dodson. She is also survived by twenty seven grandchildren, fifty two great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Etzweiler Family Funeral Homes (1111 E Market St, York, PA 17403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
