It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol A. Rice of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roseada Sipe, (Ferguson) and Glen W. Sipe, Sr.; her sons, William "Bill" Sipe, Vincent Sipe, David, Robert Sipe and Michael Sipe; her grandson Elijah Sipe; her great great grandchild Ayami G. Baxter; and her siblings, Glen Jr., Barry, Robert, Dale, Betty, Grace, Jean and Joan.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Sipe of York, Tina Beatty (Jomo) of York, Roman Sipe (LiSandra) of Dover and Vidal Sipe (Michelle) of Hickory, NC; her nephews, David Sweeney (Monique) of Virginia and Harold Sweeney (Janet) of Virginia; and her sister Barbara Sipe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Praise and Worship (886 E Prospect St, York, PA 17403). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
