With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Shipley of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward L. Shipley; her parents, Merlin Grossman and Pauline Grossman (Busser); and her brothers, Harry and Merlin Grossman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Andrea Ensminger of Dover, Deanna Shaeffer of Dover, Christopher Grossman of York and Richard Grossman of Silver City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
