He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Hancock (Dietz); and his mother Minnie I. Rice. He is survived by: his children, Corrine G. Ruth (Ted) of Spring Grove, PA, John Hancock of South Carolina, Charles Hancock, Jr. of East Berlin, PA and James Hancock of York, PA; and his siblings, Curtis Rice of Hanover, PA, Wayne Rice of New Oxford, PA and Clara Jo Strickland of North Carolina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren.
