He is survived by: his children, Chad (Christine Vernon) of York and Brenda (Edward Ellis) of York; his grandchildren, Shelby Vernon and Jason Ellis (Jenn Rhine); his son Lindsey Ellis-Thomas (Dylan Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Lily Thomas and Mason Thomas. He is also survived by two nieces and nephews.
