He is survived by: his children, Barbara W. Ferriter (David), Barry E. Wherley (Dawn Miller) and Bonnie S. Hartman (Michael); his grandchildren, Brandon M. McWilliams (Kim), Stephanie R. Pappas (James), Caitlin C. Marchand (Wes), Bianca C. Myers (Eric McNeil), Russell C. Hartman (Tabitha), Barry E. Wherley II, Meghan A. Ferriter, Samuel E. Wherley (Liz), Joshua S. Hartman (Amy) of Stefan, M. R and Amy Billet (Robert Henkel); his great grandchildren, Roarke, Keagan, Tesni Marchand, Parker, Lucy Pappas, Isabella Wherley, Dylan McNeil, Kenley, Clara McWilliams, Allyson Valdez (Ezekial), Austin (Ally), Kathleen Hartman, Jordana, Max Hartman and Aron DeWees; his great great grandchildren, Madeline and Julian Hartman; and his brother Richard G. Wherley (Betty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
