With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton Eugene Ness of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Clayton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ness and Ruth Ness (Klinedinst); his wife Joyce Ness (Krebs); and his siblings, Howard Ness, Jr., Robert Ness and Doris Weikert.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ness of York, PA and Kevin Ness (Margaret Ness); and his grandchildren, Dr. Abigail Ness of Philadelphia, PA and Jordan Ness of Brooklyn, NY..
