He was predeceased by: his father Richard R. Sipe; his brother Michael Sipe; and his grandparents, Richard, Helen Sipe, Wayne and Alice Fink.

He is survived by: his mother Waynetta Sylvia Sipe Dubbs (Fink); his daughter Ena Sipe Warner (Shane); his grandsons, Austyn and Owen; his sisters, Beverly Zettlemoyer (Morris) and Mary Shorts (Mike Alexander); his stepmother Sandra Sipe; and his siblings' children, Michelle Bazzle (Chas Caplinger), Amy Eberly, Taryn Shorts and Mitch Sipe.
