He is survived by: his children, Shannon M. Monroe of Baltimore, MD and Spencer Hamburg of New Oxford; and his siblings, Alan, Mark Monroe of Baltimore, MD, Sandy Jacobs of Glen Burnie, MD, Glen Monroe (Karen) of Westminster, MD and Bryan Monroe (Penny) of York. He is also survived by one grandchild; three great grandchildren.
