It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daune L. Sitler (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Barry C. Sitler; her parents, Maurice Shoff and Maggie Shoff (Blessing); and her siblings, Flo Schonig and Dale Shoff.
She is survived by: her children, Wade Sitler (Catherine) of Wrightsville and Valerie Smeltzer (Henry (Hank)) of Craley; her grandchildren, Luke Smeltzer (Lauren), Mason Smeltzer (Emma), Barry "Jake" Sitler (Jamie), Erika Lyter (Michael) and Rebecca Straube (Lee); and her great grandchildren, Levi Smeltzer, Fletcher Sitler, Mackenzie Lyter, Sophie Lyter, Wilder Sitler, Leo Straube, Olivia Straube and Lucie Lyter.
